Overall Bibaho Obhijaan is an entertaining watch. Priyanka Sarkar is there in an extended cameo with only four scenes to her credit but she has nailed it with her wonderful performance.
#Bibaho abhijan bengali serial full watch tv
Sohini Sarkar has done very loud acting but it was the demand of her character who is very much inspired by the TV actresses. Nusraat Faria has pretty little to do and she is just okay. His expressions and dialogue delivery is full of fun. Here he has surprised everyone with his excellent comic timing. He has done comedy in TV shows earlier but in movies we have seen him mostly doing serious stuff. But the man who has steal the show is undoubtedly Anirban Bhattacharya. It wont be wrong to say he has outperformed Rudranil in many scenes. In his earlier movies, mostly he used to make faces in the name of comedy but now he has matured a lot as an actor. Ankush has done many comedy movies in his career so far. In some of his movies he is asked to do louder acting to make it look funny which looks annoying but here he is more restrained with his comedy except for few scenes. Rudranil Ghosh has a very good comic timing and he has proved that once again. Although one must say excessive brand promotion is little irritating and it could have been limited or placed in a better way in stead of throwing directly on your face.Ī comedy movie’s impact is very much dependent on the performances and comic timing of the actors and here almost all the leading actors are in good form, specially the three male leads of the film. It only tries to deliver some genuine funny moments and it succeeds in doing that. But these shortcomings of the first half have been well compensated in a rather entertaining second half. The good thing about the film is that the makers know that it is not going to be a classic comedy and it never aspires to be that either. Also in the first half there are some distasteful jokes like making fun of gays or making fun of a diabetic patient who needs to pass urine frequently. For example which activist celebrates birthday saying Inquilab Zindabad or which serial lover talks in a dramatic tone of their on screen idol. Both the characters of Rai and Maya are too extreme to digest. The dialogues again by Rudranil are well written and extremely funny, specially the dialogues written for the character of Bullet Singh. The story and screenplay which has been written by Rudranil Ghosh does not offer anything new, it is very much predictable but the good thing is it has some really funny scenes. He has kidnapped the passengers of a bus to be in news headlines so that he can impress his wife Malati (Priyanka Sarkar). The dacoit group leader is Bullet Singh aka Gansha (Anirban Bhattacharya) who has his own back story.
But everything does not work as per their plan and they became the hostages of a dacoit group. They make a plan for an outing to Darjeeling telling lie to their wives and their Bosses. For obvious reasons, both Anupam and Rajat are frustrated with their wives and they want to escape from this suffering at least for few days. Moreover she is a die hard fan of TV serials and keeps talking in dramatic tone like her favourite TV soap actors. Maya is too much into religious activities and very superstitious, she keeps tieing amulets on every possible part of her husband’s body. Rai is an activist who is involved in debates and protest rallies for most of the time, she has no time for her husband. Anupam has married his girlfriend Rai (Nusraat Faria) and Rajat has an arranged marriage with Maya (Sohini Sarkar). The story is about two friends Anupam (Ankush) and Rajat (Rudranil Ghosh), both of them are newly married. It is a fun watch for most of the part because of some really well written funny dialogues and superb comic timing of the lead cast specially the three male leads. Review of “Bibaho Obhijaan” – A joyride full of fun.Ĭast – Ankush, Rudranil Ghosh, Anirban Bhattacharya, Nusraat Faria, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkarīringing smile to someone’s face is not an easy task but director Birsa Dasgupta and his team has succeeded in doing that with their new film Bibaho Obhijaan.
